Now crazy is different than chaotic or confusing or controversial. Crazy is when you know amazing things are happening but not quite the way you envisioned. In fact <strong><em>NOTHING</em></strong> like you envisioned. <br /> <br />Crazy like when you you get e-mails that seem to say, <em><strong>don't come since we have no one ready to help</strong></em> and yet you know that your non-refundable tickets are going to carry you to arrive in Nairobi on Jan 13th regardless. <br /> <br />Crazy like <em><strong>no certainty if anyone will be there to greet you at the airport</strong></em> and yet you've already had a Kenyan architect in your home for dinner with the ministry team and he is eager for you to meet his family who just happen to own a printing business in Nairobi. <br /> <br />Crazy like <em><strong>not knowing where and how God is going to provide the funds</strong></em> and yet a little country church on a hill in the middle of nowhere Alberta gives $400 in a special offering or a small US town church in northern Montana gives $1000 to help us pioneer this new sports mininstry. <br /> <br />Sometimes I think that <strong><em>crazy</em></strong> is the post-modern word for how Paul described himself: <strong>"We are fools for Christ..."</strong> I Corinthians 4:10a. <br /> <br />In a crazy world, is it possible that we are called to live a 'crazy life' so that the power of God might be demonstrated? A team of 4 individuals will be travelling to Kenya and other countries in Africa to see what God is doing in their cities. </em> <br /><em></em> <br /><em>This will be an interesting and life changing time.
